Much of the EPA’s work is carried out in consultation with committees made up of local representatives from communities, industry and government. These committees are familiar with issues in their regions and advise the EPA on actions to improve air quality.
Air quality committees
The EPA works in partnership with regional and local communities to minimise air pollution, particularly particle pollution, from a wide range of industries. The EPA collaborates with communities, industry and government to measure air quality through monitoring networks across NSW.
