NSW local government air quality toolkit module 3: air pollution control techniques
This module covers approaches and technologies used to manage air pollution for activities regulated by local councils.
This module includes an introduction to the types of air pollution control techniques likely to be encountered at premises where non-scheduled activities are carried out within the meaning of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.
Its main aim is to help council officers understand key principles for implementing air pollution control techniques. This will help officers make well-informed decisions or judgments about the likely effectiveness of proposals put forward by industry and consultants.
